                                          Measurement methods

  1. Chest/Bust-  Measure around the largest region of the chest or breast. Draw the tape as loosely as possible.
  1. Center Back-neck-to-Waist-  Measure from the rear base of the neck, over the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist with the arm straight.
  2.  Back Waist Length- Measure from the base of the neck's most prominent bone to the natural waistline.
  3. Cross Back- Measure from  shoulder to shoulder.
  4.  Arm Length – Measure from armpit to wrist with the arm slightly bent.
  5. Upper Arm- Take a measurement around the broadest part of your upper arm above the elbow.
  6.  Armhole Depth- Take a measurement from the top of the shoulder down to the armpit.
  7. Waist—take your waist measurement around the smallest part of your waist. The smaller diameter of your natural waist, generally right above the belly button, is where you should measure your waist.
  8. Hips: Take a measurement around the broadest portion of your lower hip.
  9. Head Circumference- Place a tape measure over the forehead and measure around the whole circumference of the head for accurate head measurement. For reliable results, keep the tape snug.

The following measures are for crew-style or dress socks, which are often several inches above the ankle and below the calf.
11a. Foot Circumference- Take a measurement around the widest portion of your foot to calculate the circumference.
11b. Sock Height- Measure the height of the sock from the heel to the toe.
11b. Sock Height- Measure from where you begin to turn for the heel shaping to the top of the sock to determine the height of the sock.
11c. Overall Foot Length- Place a ruler or tape measure on the floor to measure the total length of your foot. Start measuring from the rear of your heel and work your way to your longest toe.
12a. Measure around the palm of your dominant hand, just below the knuckles. The thumb isn't included.
12b. Wrist Circumference – Take a measurement around the broadest portion of your wrist.
12c. Hand Length- Take a measurement from the wrist to the base of the hand, then to the tip of the middle finger or the top of the longest finger.
