THE CO-ORDINATING FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMISSION

The co-ordinating functions of the Commission include;

1. Acting as an agency for channeling external assistance and funding to public tertiary education institutions.

2. Collating, analyzing, and publishing information on tertiary education in the country.

3. Harmonizing the planning of the tertiary education system in line with manpower needs and national development goals.

4. Creating a platform for regular interaction between industry and Academia.

5. Providing a hub for mutually beneficial interaction and the articulation of national interest within the tertiary education system.
